We Install a System to Time Lapse a Heritage Site

We install a camera system to time lapse the site of four historic Grade II listed buildings in Stoke-on-Trent. A project that will run for around 9 months....

We are very please to be working for fellow producers 'Inspired Film and Video' and the City of Stoke-on-Trent Council to time lapse the demolition of the former Enson works in Normacot, Stoke-on-Trent. The area is at the proud heart of the City's historic pottery industry, and the former Enson Works has four Grade II listed bottle ovens which lie within its walls. The landmark project will see the demolition of the old factory buildings surrounding the ovens.

This demolition will reveal the distinctively shaped ovens to our time lapse system's line of site. Then, we will capture the rebuilding of a new training complex around a part of Britain's industrial heritage. The time lapse project will run for around nine months to capture the entire process in high definition.

Time Lapse Systems Withstand Severe Weather

Due to severe weather over the last 10 day our time lapse systems, in various parts of the country, have withstood the sternest of tests......

Whilst snow, northern and easterly winds and sub zero temperatures have battered our time lapse camera systems in various parts of the country, they have remained operating continuously. Our temperature sensors recorded at temperature of -12 at our location in Sheffield, whilst sensors on our other camera systems around the UK also recorded prolonged periods, day and night, of temperatures well below zero. However, without any exception, all our cameras have continued to operate without a single problem. This is partly due to our unique thermostatically controlled climate modules, built into each time lapse camera system.... which keep our equipment functioning in the best operating conditions possible.

The image below is taken from the viewer of our camera in Stornoway. It has not been subject to as severe weather as some of our other camera systems.... but, like them, it has captured some great winter construction images...
