We have just installed one of our Ultra HD Time-Lapse and Site Monitoring camera systems for the Bayford Group at their Head Office at Bowcliffe Hall, West Yorkshire.
The camera system is located in ancient woodland, high in the treetops.
We were helped with this challenging installation by WshServices, and installed the camera system by means of ropes and pulleys to its position high above ground level. The camera was rigged by means of specialist brackets that secured the camera apparatus, whilst protecting the host tree.
The camera system will capture the unique construction of a glass and wooden conference facility in woodland, which will form the shape of a huge aircraft wing.
The construction will be called The Blackburn Wing, and takes its inspiration from famous aviation pioneer, Robert Blackburn OBE, FRAeS who once owned Bowcliffe Hall. Blackburn was connected with the North Sea Aerial Navigation Company, was Chairman of Blackburn Aircraft Ltd and founder of the Flag School at Brough for the training of officers of the Air Reserve. In 1912 he built a single-seater, two-engine plane and he was also the owner of a plane, which won the War of the Air Trophy.
As a tribute to Robert Blackburn ‘The Blackburn Wing’ will emerge from the trees at Bowcliffe, and boast stunning views across the countryside, as just part of Bowcliffe’s impressive redevelopments.
The installation of our camera system in treetops is yet another unique challenge for us, and we thank the Bayford Group for putting their faith in us to deliver stunning HD time-lapse and site monitoring for this amazing project.
