We have just completed two major projects in Portsmouth: To document the replacement of the Northern Road Bridge in Cosham and the construction of a new Park and Ride facility in Tipner.
We installed a camera system in Cosham on 1st March 2013 to capture the Northern Road Bridge replacement. This project lasted almost 12 months, during which time we captured the entire process of replacement.
The bridge carries the A397 between the M27 and the A3 over the railway at Cosham, and because the railway line was kept functioning throughout the replacement works, much of the ‘possession’ works took place at night. We therefore continually adjusted the camera settings remotely to produce the best possible images.
The second camera system was installed on 11th June 2013 at the side of the M275 and recorded the construction of a new junction, slip road and £28 million new Park and Ride facility at Tipner.
Both projects were completed for Portsmouth City Council and their main contractors. We have now completed all final editing to instruction and the finished sequences have been used to demonstrate every step of these key projects for the City of Portsmouth
Both infrastructure projects will bring major benefits to the City of Portsmouth and we have greatly enjoyed providing our range of services to document them faultlessly throughout.
