Capturing in the Northern Powerhouse

Bespoke camera systems across Manchester.

MANCHESTER is gearing up for a huge construction revolution – and we will be there to capture it.

In late 2014 it was announced that £300m worth of investment funds for housing would be released, in addition to various infrastructure improvements to benefit the area’s mammoth £51bn economy.

And our bespoke camera systems have already proved exceptionally popular across the Greater Manchester area, for a number of different purposes, sectors and clients.

As part of our varied work we have captured a bridge installation across the M56 (with our colleagues at Aerial Images), the creation of new sewage works at Trafford Park for United Utilities and even a temporary display of Lego Star Wars in the Trafford Centre.

Other projects include:

  • Remotely monitoring improvements to rail infrastructure and bridge strengthening for Network Rail across Manchester.
  • Documenting the arrival of a tunnel-boring machine to a site in the city, using an advanced rapid-capture technique we have developed.
  • Capturing the construction and installation of sewage treatment works in Lostock, Bolton.

An additional £470m has been earmarked for Greater Manchester’s transport network.

We currently have cameras across the country capturing transport-based projects, which include four cameras for Highways England on the motorway network.

A number of our previous projects in Manchester have taken place for over two years, meaning our equipment has had to operate faultlessly 24/7, 365 days of the year and withstand severe weather conditions and extremes.

Forget grainy webcams and black-and-white CCTV images, our remotely monitored time-lapse camera systems only capture in Ultra HD, providing the very best, highest quality images possible.

And our highly skilled and experienced team will always strive to find a fixing solution so you do not miss any of the action. We always look forward to discussing requirements with new clients in North West England and across the country.
