Adston and BHA Homes – Duns
Modular builds are becoming an increasingly popular means of residential development in the UK. This week we feature one of several modular housing projects that we have been involved with.
Built off-site in Scotland by Berwickshire Housing Association, the completed structures were then transported to the county town of Duns.
Combining time-lapse capture and video work, the year-long project is neatly condensed into a sequence of just over a minute-long – showing the construction of 62 houses in 62 seconds!
In-situ video work also enabled us to capture module structures as they left the warehouse via road to the site nestled within the Scottish Borders.
Other modular build projects that have benefited from our visual solutions include the joint venture between Kier and Balfour Beatty at the RAF Lyneham airbase in Wiltshire.
We used multiple cameras to capture the ‘Hercules’ project, as well as monitoring the manufacture of modular buildings at Caledonian Modular in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
