Started as a mail order business in 1956, kitchenware retailer Lakeland has grown to become one of Britain’s most recognisable brands and is named after the area where it is still based to this day.

Capturing Lakeland’s growth

In 2015 the company invested £1 million to transform their flagship store in Windermere, which already welcomed over half a million visitors each year and is one of the Lake District’s most popular visitor destinations.
