This week’s Friday Feature was a collaborative project between ourselves and Aerial Images, capturing work of Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald JV during the M56 Thorley Lane bridge replacement works in Manchester.
Highways England are the latest public body to invest in time-lapse camera systems to help communicate their ongoing works.
Projects on the M3, M27 and M56 are all being covered.
A NEW £5.5m bridge was moved into its final position over the M56 during the final weekend in February – and we had a camera in place documenting the impressive feat.
Our colleagues at Aerial Images asked us to collaborate with them on this project for the Highway’s Agency by installing one of our specialist, Ultra HD time-lapse camera systems to capture the bridge being lifted…
