News We Time-lapse a Match Day at Premier League Stoke City

8 March 2010 Daniel Curtis

Over the years, we have collaborated extensively with Stoke City Football Club on numerous projects, playing a role in documenting key moments in the club’s history. One such project was covering the Stoke City game against Bolton Wanderers on 4th March 2010. This particular match was significant, and capturing it allowed us to contribute to the club’s efforts to preserve its legacy.

Our role involved providing visual documentation that would serve as a lasting record of this period. The material we created has been incorporated into the club’s promotional resources, ensuring that the memories of matches like these are accessible to fans and followers of the team. This approach not only honours the club’s heritage but also provides an opportunity to engage with supporters through visual storytelling.

The collaboration on this project reflects a broader partnership with Stoke City Football Club, where we have consistently worked to highlight key moments both on and off the pitch.

By preserving moments like the 2010 game against Bolton Wanderers, the club can maintain a connection between its history and its future. These projects ensure that the experiences of players, staff, and supporters remain a vital part of the narrative for years to come.

Our shared commitment to capturing and sharing these moments reinforces the value of visual media in celebrating and safeguarding the history of football clubs like Stoke City.

Among these was a poignant documentary on the old Victoria Ground, capturing its essence before it was demolished in 1997. In addition to his work in film, Dr Kelsall designed, wrote, and sourced images for an exhibit on the club’s history in the 1853 Lounge. This exhibit brought to life key moments from Stoke City’s storied past, combining carefully selected visuals with engaging narratives to create an immersive experience for visitors.
