Flood Defence Scheme, Newport
Time-Lapse Systems was commissioned by Natural Resources Wales to provide comprehensive time-lapse monitoring and drone surveys for the £25m Stephenson Street Flood Risk Management Scheme in Newport, Wales. Across an 18-month programme, we deployed 10 high-resolution time-lapse cameras and delivered 43 drone flights, capturing 374,977 images to document the construction of new flood walls, embankments and flood gates protecting over 2,000 homes and businesses. Our secure online portal supported transparent reporting, regulatory oversight and stakeholder engagement on this publicly funded flood defence infrastructure project.
