News World’s most powerful brand utilises our time-lapse
13th Lego-based time-lapse project we’ve produced for Merlin Entertainments.
THE Abeno Harukas – Japan’s tallest skyscraper – has been immortalised in Lego bricks.
Nine months in the making, our time-lapse camera system captured the model’s full build from June 2014 to September 2014.
The Minifigure-scale tower is now in transit from Legoland’s model building workshop in Windsor to a brand new Discovery Centre in Osaka.
In February Forbes announced Lego as the world’s most powerful brand and they continue to use our time-lapse videos to further their appeal and reach. To enhance this particular edit we incorporated rapid interval capture, highlighting the final construction of the tower before it was sent across the world.
Legoland (owned by Merlin Entertainments, the second biggest attraction group of its kind in the world) have commissioned our time-lapse camera systems and professional editing services on a number of previous occasions. These include capturing:
- The build of a scale-model Fenway Park for Legoland Discovery Centre Boston.
- The installation of a Star Wars Miniland at the Trafford Centre, Manchester.
- Construction of The Smiler – the world’s first 14 looping rollercoaster.
- Stage construction and deconstruction for a P!nk concert at Alton Towers, as well as the performance itself.
We are proud to have worked with Lego on a number of significant time-lapse projects that have all had a lasting, worldwide appeal.
