News A year of time-lapse
As we have not yet said it – Happy New Year!
A new calendar year might mean a new start for some, but for us it is business as usual. Plenty of our clients will continue to enjoy access to their own bespoke camera systems well into 2016 and even beyond.
We offer a dual time-lapse and site monitoring service, allowing clients to see live progress from their construction site, leisure venue, warehouse or office space – 24/7, from anywhere in the world. The vast majority of our clients enjoy the long-term service we provide, but we also work on projects that occur over just a few days or hours.
In this blog we take a look back at the varied work we have been involved with over the past year, from projects that started way before 2015 and will continue into this year or longer, to short-term projects completed solely in the past 12 months.
St Andrews links
In 2015 we completed two unique projects for seating and stadia experts GL events. As well as our time-lapse of the new Sir Elton John Stand at Watford FC being enjoyed time and time again by Hornets’ fans, we also delivered a video documenting history being made. The two-tier grandstand for The Open was a first at St Andrews links and the time-lapse was only possible thanks to our off-grid, long-term camera system capabilities in the middle of the golf course.
The West Brom headquarters
A longer-term time-lapse and site monitoring project we are involved with has seen one of our camera systems in situ since November 2013 for The West Brom building society. Their new headquarters is now almost complete, but we have been constantly providing live updates of the build progress.
190 Strand development
A large number of our clients have on-going works in the South of England, much like this project for St Edward. Part of the Berkeley Group, the residential specialist has utilise two of our systems for this particular build – 190 Strand – in the heart of London.
Black Dam Roundabout improvements
One of a number of Highways Agency projects we have been involved with, our two cameras on the M3 Black Dam roundabout project have been highly beneficial for both site monitoring and time-lapse videos. Since late 2014 we have been busy capturing tens-of-thousands-of images and creating fully post-produced time-lapse videos for our client.
These images give just a flavour of some of the varied work we undertake, our long-term networked time-lapse solutions and the quality that we can produce.
