News Alton Fun Run: Time-Lapse Systems Sponsors Regional Event

We were proud to be one of the sponsors of the Alton 10K challenge and Fun Run 2023 which took place on Saturday 16th September. We are lucky enough to have one of our offices in the picturesque village of Alton in the Staffordshire Moorlands and we always endeavour to support good causes as and when we can. In addition to our sponsorship we also produced a time-lapse sequence of the route to help the organisers promote the event. This spectacular fun filled day saw a series of races which took place in some iconic sections of the Churney Valley, whilst raising money for Moorlands HomeLink and North Staffs Mind.

This was a great day where serious senior runners could take part in a 10km challenge through a hilly terrain and ending with punishing uphill finish. There was also a 3.5km fun run which was perfect for families and budding athletes who wanted the opportunity to have their very own medal! Even some of our members of staff took part with their children, including our very own Marketing Manger, Holly Eckersley who stated: ‘This was such a great community event, and it was lovely to see everyone coming together to support such a great cause!’. Plus, we were further represented by the eldest son of our CEO. William Kelsall, who is only 14 years of age, came second in the senior race!

Event organiser, Felicity Burton commented, ‘Thank you Time-Lapse Systems for your generous contribution, it is wonderful to see local businesses supporting village events which have such an important social impact’. The day had sustainability and the environment at its core too – with medals made from wood. At Time-Lapse Systems we place a strong emphasis on looking after our environment and trying our very best to be good neighbours. We try to make daily positive green choices and have a sustainability policy with related initiatives in place in our offices and through all our activities. We were delighted to see that this community event mirrored some of our core values too!

As-well as sponsorship our team also created an information video for the event showing attendees the route through the picturesque Churnet Valley which we fully post-produced. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and are looking forward to attending next year.
