GL events – 2015 Open Championship at St Andrews

To be able to offer our clients the highest quality in video and site monitoring solutions, our cameras are designed to operate remotely no matter the circumstances in situ.

Our off-grid technology – innovated and developed by our in-house team – means that we never have to compromise on our services, particularly in external locations where on-grid power isn’t always available.

One such project that required solar power was the construction of the first ever two-tier grandstand at St Andrews in time for the 2015 Open.

At the world-famous golf course there was no access to mains power available, but our off-grid system performed faultlessly to provide three weeks of uninterrupted capture – resulting in 15,000 images.

Working with GL events, who have utilised our services for other projects, Time-Lapse Systems were able to provide this fully post-produced edit of this first-time construction.
