News Our Time-Lapse Work for Legoland

We are pleased to announce the completion of our sixth high-definition time-lapse and site monitoring project for LEGOLAND, this time at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester. Our role was to document the construction of the new Star Wars Miniland attraction, which is now open to the public.

Project Overview

The Star Wars Miniland exhibit at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester showcases the intricate work of LEGO builders and model-makers. The display comprises over 250,000 LEGO bricks and 2,000 minifigures, requiring 2,000 man-hours to complete. Our time-lapse film captures the entire process, from the initial build to the final installation, highlighting the dedication and precision involved.

Time-Lapse Documentation

To effectively document the construction, we installed high-definition time-lapse cameras at strategic locations within the site. Over several weeks, these cameras recorded continuous footage, capturing each stage of the build. The resulting time-lapse film provides a comprehensive overview of the project’s progression, serving both as a testament to the builders’ craftsmanship and as a dynamic marketing tool for LEGOLAND.
