News Our Time-Lapse for Legoland Boston Hits the USA
Our time-lapse of the Lego model construction of Boston’s Fenway Park Stadium has been seen across the USA. In just a few days, the video sequence has been featured by USA Today, has been used by numerous TV stations including WBTV and Fox, and has currently received well over 100,000 YouTube hits in the short time since its launch.
We recently completed this, our 12th time-lapse project for Legoland, as part of over 30 projects we’ve now done for Merlin Entertainments.
Our latest project for the entertainment giant consisted of setting up one of our unique ultra HD time-lapse camera systems at the Legoland Model Builders’ Studio in Windsor, to capture the build of Fenway Park for the latest Legoland Discovery Centre in Boston, Massachusetts.
Each time Merlin open a LDC in a major city, they produce Lego models of buildings iconically associated with that city, before shipping them over to sit within the attractions.
We have now time-lapsed the construction of many such models including Toronto’s CN Tower, Tokyo’s SkyTree and Dallas’s Cowboys’ Stadium.
We use special techniques in both capture and post-production to achieve the unrivalled standard necessary, and constantly remotely control our camera systems over the days, weeks and months it takes the model builders to skilfully craft their models.
The fact that this time-lapse sequence has received so much exposure in U.S media has helped Legoland and Merlin promote the opening of their great new attraction in Boston.
We’ll be hoping to work with Merlin again soon, as well as our many other clients to represent their work and their brands to the best standards possible.
