Capturing the Transformation of Stoke-on-Trent’s New Bus Terminal with High-Definition Site Monitoring and Time-Lapse Technology

We are pleased to announce that VINCI Construction UK, working in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, has commissioned one of our dual high-definition site monitoring and time-lapse camera systems. This cutting-edge system has now been successfully installed on the roof of the Victoria Hall  in the city centre, offering a prime vantage point to document the construction of Stoke-on-Trent’s new £15 million state-of-the-art bus terminal.

A Landmark Development for Stoke-on-Trent

The new bus station is the first phase of the ambitious £350 million City Sentral project, which, upon completion in 2015, will transform Stoke-on-Trent into a premier regional shopping destination. This major redevelopment initiative represents a significant investment in the city’s infrastructure and economic growth, providing a modern, efficient transport hub that will enhance connectivity and accessibility.

Our Role in Documenting Progress

Our advanced camera system has been strategically positioned to provide continuous, high-definition monitoring of the construction site. Looking towards the south of the city, it will capture every stage of development, from the initial groundwork through to the final architectural touches. The first phase of the project has now commenced with foundation drilling and piling, setting the groundwork for what promises to be an iconic addition to the cityscape.

Our cameras will meticulously record each subsequent phase, including the construction of concrete frames, cladding installations, and, ultimately, the erection of an innovative wave-design roof. This visual documentation will not only serve as a valuable resource for project stakeholders but also provide a compelling narrative of progress for the wider community.

Delivering High-Quality Visual Content

In addition to real-time site monitoring, we will produce periodic progress sequences that highlight key milestones throughout the project. These sequences will be integral to tracking the transformation of the site, allowing VINCI Construction UK and Stoke-on-Trent City Council to oversee developments with unparalleled clarity and precision.

Upon completion of the bus terminal, our expert editing team will craft a stunning high-definition time-lapse film that encapsulates the entire construction journey. This professionally curated film will serve as a lasting record of the project’s evolution, showcasing the meticulous planning, engineering expertise, and architectural innovation that have gone into creating this essential transport hub.

Looking Ahead

As construction progresses, our camera system will continue to provide uninterrupted coverage, capturing the intricate details of each development phase. From the foundation work to the final aesthetic enhancements, every moment will be documented with precision and professionalism.

We are proud to support VINCI Construction UK and Stoke-on-Trent City Council in this transformative endeavour, offering a state-of-the-art monitoring solution that ensures transparency, efficiency, and an enduring visual legacy of the city’s redevelopment. Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to chronicle the creation of Stoke-on-Trent’s newest landmark.
