Honoured to Capture UEFA Champions League Action at Emirates Stadium

We were truly honoured that UEFA chose us above any other time-lapse company for this prestigious project. Being entrusted with capturing such a high-profile event is a testament to our expertise in delivering high-quality, high-definition visual documentation.

Over the course of four days, we captured around 90,000 images for UEFA at Arsenal’s iconic Emirates Stadium in North London. Our team strategically positioned cameras throughout the stadium to time-lapse the complete setup, the match itself, and the de-rigging process for the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League game between Arsenal and AC Milan.

A Collaborative Effort

This project would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of our good friends and colleagues, Ollie Larkin and Zeb Atkins. Despite an unexpected adventure involving being trapped on the balcony of their hotel, their dedication and expertise were instrumental in the success of the job. Their commitment to ensuring every aspect of the event was documented flawlessly helped make this project a resounding success.

Capturing Every Detail

Throughout the four days, we meticulously documented every phase of the event, ensuring nothing was left out. Our time-lapse cameras recorded:

• The arrival and departure of UEFA signage vehicles, unloading and loading essential materials
• The signage teams working across multiple locations to dress the stadium for the big game
• The thrilling match itself, capturing the excitement on the pitch and in the stands
• The bustling hospitality areas where VIP guests experienced world-class service
• The press rooms, where post-match analysis and interviews took place
• The crowd filling and emptying the stadium, encapsulating the electric atmosphere of a Champions League night

Cutting-Edge Technology in Action

To ensure we captured the highest quality footage, we deployed the best cameras with a range of lenses, carefully positioned in various locations. These included:

• Wide-angle panoramas from gantries, providing stunning overhead views
• Close-ups from pitch-side, immersing viewers in the action
• Cameras mounted on forklift trucks for dynamic, unique angles

This combination of equipment and strategic placements enabled us to create a comprehensive visual narrative of the entire event, from start to finish.

Delivering to UEFA Headquarters

With the event now concluded, the complete record of our time-lapse work has been sent to UEFA’s headquarters in Switzerland. This detailed documentation will serve as a valuable asset for UEFA, providing an unparalleled visual record of the meticulous planning and execution that goes into staging a Champions League match.
