News Twelve Days of Time-Lapse
Christmas is nearly upon us so we thought it would be good fun to look back and create our own “12 days” which of course is all about time-lapse and some of the excellent projects we’ve been involved in.
12 & 11
Our camera system is currently reporting the construction of 11 & 12 Wellington Place. We’ve had the pleasure of capturing the impressive 1.9 million sq ft commercial site at Wellington Place, Leeds for MEPC for the past eight years and look forward to documenting further builds there.

At Ten-Pin at the Print Works in Manchester and Acton our camera systems have documented the internal refurbishment of these upgraded and stylish bowling venues.
9.
At Nine Elms we’ve captured the construction of many new residential properties, as well as internal works at Battersea Power Station.
8.
Stands for the 8 in 2018, the year that we captured the regeneration of the Cornhill town square for Ipswich Borough Council. We agree this is a little bit of a stretch for 8, but we had to include the time-lapse of this redevelopment as it culminates in a festive gathering around a twinkling Christmas tree.
7.
For seven weeks we captured the redevelopment of a play area at Brough Park, Leek for the local authorities. We documented as the space was transformed into a pleasant child-friendly space.
6.
Six camera angles were used in this edit for HS2 at Area East of Euston Station and approaches. Our in-house engineers successfully calculated how to capture such a complex project.
5.
The Smiler roller coaster at Alton Towers is split into five sections. We captured the complete build process, recording every detail of the world’s first 14 inversion roller coaster.
4.
This stands for 4 Angel Gardens where we are currently documenting the construction of the 466 apartment neighbourhood in the heart of the NOMA district in Manchester.
3.
Is the number of days capture our camera system reported on the reconstruction of the renovated Spitfire at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
2.
For two days we captured for the Theatre Royal Drury Lane as its frontage underwent a festive transformation.

For a year we filmed at the RAH to create the impressive video of the Year in the Life of the Royal Albert Hall, showcasing all the fabulous work that goes into productions at this iconic entertainment venue.
At Time-Lapse Systems, we specialise in delivering high-quality time-lapse construction services that document complex projects from start to finish. Our work has captured some of the UK’s most recognisable developments, including the Royal Albert Hall, Noma Project Manchester, Angel Gardens, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Potteries Museum in Hanley, Alton Towers, HS2, Ipswich Council, Tenpin and Wellington Place Leeds. Each of these projects demonstrates the value of professional time-lapse photography for construction, providing a complete visual record of progress and helping stakeholders monitor activity remotely.
Time-lapse construction is not just about creating visually impressive footage – it is about offering a reliable and secure way to track key stages of a build, share updates with teams and clients, and preserve an accurate record for future reference. Our professional time-lapse cameras are installed with minimal disruption, operate in all weather conditions, and are monitored by our in-house team to ensure consistent image quality. Whether a project lasts weeks, months or several years, we provide a dependable source of visual information at every stage.
The resulting construction time-lapse videos can be used for project reporting, marketing, public engagement, and internal communications, turning complex construction schedules into a clear and accessible story. With years of experience across sectors including infrastructure, heritage, retail, leisure and local government, we understand the unique requirements of each site and tailor our solutions to meet project-specific needs.
Our fully managed time-lapse service includes secure image hosting, remote viewing platforms and technical support, giving clients confidence that their data is protected and always accessible. By working with Time-Lapse Systems, you gain not only a striking time-lapse film but also a comprehensive documentation tool that supports decision-making and showcases achievement.
From major city redevelopments to sensitive heritage restorations, our work helps bring projects to life and keeps stakeholders engaged. As demand grows for accurate, engaging ways to communicate construction progress, time-lapse photography continues to be one of the most effective solutions available.
Whether you are planning a large-scale infrastructure project, a commercial build, or a public installation, at Time-Lapse Systems we ready to provide a tailored solution that meets your needs and delivers measurable results. Our expertise, technology and commitment to quality make us a trusted partner for time-lapse construction projects across the UK.
